Handellling and Health Safety

sMolten polymers could be injured skin or eye so safety glasses and appropriate gloves are suggested to prevent possible thermal injuries. Also appropriate ventilation is suggested in working by melt polymer. Accumulation of fines or dust particles that are in this grade is not suitable because of explosion hazard probability. So adequated filters and grounding exists at all time are recommended.

Storage

Polyethylene products (in pelletised or powder form) should not be stored in direct sunshine and/or heat radiation. Ultraviolet cause a change in the material properties.The Storage area should be dry and preferably don’t exceed 50 °C. Under cool, dry, dark conditions Jam Polymers polyolefin resins are expected to maintain the original material and processing properties for at least 18 month. . JPC would not ressponsible about quality diminishing such as color change, bad smell or ets which caused by bad storage conditions. It is better to process PE resin within 6 months after delivery.

Polymers Polyolefin resins are supplied in pllet form packed in 25kg bags. Alternative packaging modes are avalable for selected grades.

PROCESSING TECHNIQUES

The actual extrusion condition depends on type of using machine, size and film thickness of product required. diameter. Generally, melt temperature should be 190-210 oC with BUR = 3-5 times and frost line height (FLH) = 8-10 times of die diameter

STORAGE

Product(s) should be stored in dry and dust free location at temperature below 50o C and protected from direct sunlight and/or heat, well-ventilated area, away from incompatible materials and food and drink, as this may lead to quality deterioration, which results in odour generation and colour changes and can have negative effects on the physical properties of this product.

Keep container tightly closed and sealed until ready for use. Containers that have been opened must be carefully resealed and kept upright to prevent leakage. Do not store in unlabelled containers. Use appropriate containment to avoid environmental contamination

The storage area should be stable and not be slopped.

HFI5110

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

HFI5110 is a high molecular weight, high density polyethylene, which has a broad molecular weight distribution and high melt strength. This product specially designed for producing thin films with excellent strength and rigidity.

APPLICATIONS

HFI5110 is recommended for blown film extrusion. This product is suitable for manufacture of high strength grocery sacks, shopping bags and high quality thin films for uni/multi-wall packaging. Films produced with this product can be readily treated and printed to give high quality graphics.

PROPERTIES

Extruder temperature profile: 200-235°C

Frost line height: 6-8 times die diameter

Blow Up Ratio: 3-5

Recommended film thickness: 15 to 50 μm

Please note that, these processing conditions are recommended by producer only for 100% HFI5110 resin (not in the case of blending with any other compatible material), but because of the many particular factors which are outside our knowledge and control, and may affect the use of product, no warranty is given
